Up for sale is a Zenith Grande Elite Dual Time from 2008 with some interesting provenance. It belonged to the actor and dialect coach Andrew Jack who was featured in the Star Wars trilogy and also worked on Lord of the Rings. The watch is in very good used condition.

Though it's service history is unknown it keeps very good time and functions as it should. It comes complete with box and papers and two straps. The watch does show signs of wear but should clean up very well should you choose to do so. Some light surface scratches and scuffs are present. The original crocodile strap is well worn and the clasp shows some damage as it is missing its star on the clasp.

Zenith Elite Grande Class Reserve de Marche Dual Time 03.0520.683. It has a signed pull-out winding crown and a rounded rectangular quick-adjustment push button on the left-side case band at 10 o'clock for adjusting the central 24-hour hand. There is an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 8 screws and it's engraved with "ZENITH GRANDE CLASS WATER RESISTANT 50M 03 0520 683 - SWISS MADE - STAINLESS STEEL, " and a serial number. The domed dial has a circular silver guilloche Clous de Paris texture surrounded by an applied Arabic numeral 24-hour GMT time zone scale, and there is a brushed silver reserve with applied steel Arabic numerals, and applied dart hour markers surrounded by a perimeter black minute/second scale. It has steel pointed baton hour and minute hands, a steel center sweep 24-hour hand with a luminous arrow tip, and there is a trapezoidal steel-framed quick-set date aperture window between 4 and 5 o'clock.

It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 14.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Zenith Grande Class Dual Time 03.0520.683/01. C492 has a mechanical automatic self-winding El Primero caliber elite 683.

It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it has a guilloche textured oscillator segment. It's constructed with a straight-line lever escapement, a shock absorber device, and a hacking seconds function for precision time setting. It includes a self-compensating free-sprung balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The original owner was Andrew Jack who is a well known dialect coach and actor. Jack appeared in Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi as General Ematt, as well as Solo: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.

Andrew Jack also created the Middle-earth accents for Orlando Bloom and Elijah Wood in the Lord Of The Rings films.
